In Google Chrome
- Automatic translation
Chrome usually detects if a webpage is in a different language than your default (e.g., English). It will suggest translating the page - for example, from Swedish to English.
- Manual translation
If the suggestion doesn't appear: right-click anywhere on the page and select "Translate to [your language]".
- Settings
Go to Settings > Languages and make sure the option "Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read" is turned on.

In Microsoft Edge
- Automatic translation
Edge will often automatically offer to translate pages that are in a different language from your browser’s default. If your browser is set to English, it should suggest translating Swedish pages.
- Manual translation
Click the translation icon in the address bar, or right-click the page and select "Translate to [your language]".
- Settings
You can manage translation settings in Settings > Languages.

In Mozilla Firefox
- Requires an extension
Firefox does not include built-in translation. However, you can easily install an extension such as Google Translate or Translate Web Pages.
- Manual translation with extension
Once installed, you can right-click the page and choose translation options. Exact features depend on the extension.

In Safari (macOS)
- Built-in translation
Recent versions of Safari include translation functionality. When you visit a page in another language, a translation icon appears in the address bar.
- Manual translation
Click the icon and select the language you want to translate the page into. Note that not all languages are supported.
- If your language isn’t supported
Use external services such as Google Translate to view translations.
Alternative methods
If your browser doesn’t offer translation features, you can use:
- Copy and paste text into Google Translate
- Paste the URL of the page into Google Translate to get a full-page translation
