Representation and cooperation
You will be given concrete examples, practical tools and the chance to practise how to act in the pay-setting process. The e-course will give you what you need to represent your members, cooperate with your employer and help ensure an effective and transparent pay-setting process.
What you will learn
- Understand your role in the salary process as a union representative
- Recognise the different steps in the local pay-setting process
- Find and use your salary agreement to support negotiations
- Gather members’ opinions and keep them informed
- Explain and monitor salary criteria in practice
- Review the employer’s salary proposals and detect non-objective differences
- Support members in performance appraisals, pay reviews and notification of salary
- Follow up on and feed back results to members and Unionen
