- Stronger together. First, apply for membership and tell your coworkers to do so too. As soon as you are more than five members of Unionen at the workplace, you can form a club. This is the most powerful way to fight your corner, as there are more of you to drive the issues you are passionate about forward together - with the legal support to do so.
- Insight and influence. Through the club, you gain insight into and influence over salaries, working hours, annual leave, new recruitment, redundancies and other issues that concern you. The club will be informed before any bigger changes in your employment or at the workplace and you can have a say before decisions are made. A club is the most powerful way of exerting influence and contributing ideas to make your workplace even better.
- Representatives. The representatives in the club are the link between members in the workplace, the employer and Unionen and their task is to facilitate and negotiate agreements that are beneficial for all parties. You choose who will represent you in the board of the club.
